I hope you don't mind me commenting on your blog (again)... You haven't actually acquired a crazy stalker, I promise. I just genuinely enjoy blogs and seeing how other people live and see the world!
ReplyDeleteMy own $0.02, for what it's worth (which is not much since I can't vote!), is that Santorum is indeed probably the only one who has a chance against Obama: Romney seems like a good, sensible chap, but it's hard not to see him as a rerun of the McCain campaign. That is, a worthy and honourable candidate, but someone it's hard to get passionate about. Gingrich has a different set of problems: He'd probably be a genuinely good president, in the sense of a wily and practical politician a la David Lloyd George. But running the old white guy against the young black guy is always likely to end badly. Santorum doesn't have the same number of skeletons in the cupboard to skate around and seems bright. The conservative end of the spectrum could do a lot worse!
