I apologize for the extended blogpost hiatus, but last week was extremely busy...then we enjoyed an extended 4th of July weekend in Hilton Head Island, SC.
We absolutely loved the island. It would be a beautiful place to live....forever.
We traveled with my Mom & Dad. My father is 58 years old and had never taken a vacation or seen the ocean in his entire life. He thought he was in Heaven!
Dad & Robby enjoying the beach
Harbour Town was one of Robby's favorite spots because you could walk around the marina to look at the very, very nice boats & yachts. If Robby ever wins the lottery, I am sure his first purchase will be a yacht. He would much rather live on water than on land. I have to say, I would probably enjoy that life as well... Maybe, I should start buying lottery tickets for him, but then I would probably just see him sailing away with Marissa Miller on his nice new yacht. That would sort of suck....
Robby also loved The Crazy Crab restaurant at Harbour Town. I believe he ate his body
weight in crab legs!
As you can see, the beach was pretty crowded for the holiday weekend.
The weather was great for the duration of our stay and the beach was just beautiful!
The photo above is the view of the marsh from our table at The Old Oyster Factory. This was another of our favorite restaurants during our stay.
A picture of the 4th of July fireworks.
We had a wonderful time and would definitely like to return to Hilton Head Island very soon......
Hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend!
