Today, She Married a Prince

Her Royal Highness The Duchess of Cambridge far exceeded the expectations of most.

She chose a dress, reminiscent of Grace Kelly and presented herself with complete class and elegance. I had feared she would appear in a high fashion, modern gown. I was beyond pleased to see her present herself as a princess, evoking every girl's vision of a fairytale.

The ceremony somehow seemed intimate and focused on family unity. I thought the most charming moment was when Prince Harry turned to see Catherine walk down the aisle while his brother faced forward. Then he whispered to Prince William, perhaps telling him how extremely beautiful she looked.

I loved every moment of the Royal Wedding, but I am unsure of what to say about Princess Beatrice's hat.

Easter Pics

I am a few days late in posting Easter pictures, but it has been a VERY busy week. We had a wonderful Easter Sunday, enjoying family and great food. Of course, we were so excited to see my niece Carsyn in her Easter attire. She actually had one wardrobe change during the course of the day. She is still a bit too small to hide/hunt Easter eggs, but she did fully enjoy her Easter gifts! I can't wait until she is old enough to enjoy a whole Reese's egg.

She looked so cute! Unfortunately, I didn't get any good pictures of her dress and it was absolutely beautiful! However, you can see some great pics at my SIL's blog here .

It's as if she's saying, "Hi Guys! I am having a WONDERFUL Easter!"

A picture after the wardrobe change. She loves to smile for the camera!

It is just amazing how one little girl can make our lives so much better. She brings our
entire family so much happiness.

Hope everyone had a great Easter holiday!

Another Video!

I may be a bit too old to admit this, but I absolutely LOVE Britney Spears. I supported her even through the rough times and always knew she would pull it back together. Today, I saw the YouTube video post of the US Marines performing  Hold it Against Me. It is wonderful......so I had to share. I hope you enjoy!

Wednesdays are for Weddings!

Today, I saw video highlights featuring one of the most beautiful and emotional weddings I have ever witnessed. With ABC News, Diane Sawyer narrated the story of Jennifer Darmon's determination to walk down the aisle with the love of her life. You can view the video here . I cried from beginning to end, completely inspired by her strength and perseverance.

Baby Face

I know it has been a long time since I have made a post, but my life is usually pretty boring and I don't always have a lot to say. To be honest, the only reason I am posting today is because I am so overwhelmingly pissed off....I just have to get it out somehow.

This is a picture of my husband Robby

This is a picture of Robby's parents

This is a picture of Robby and me

Let me begin by saying, I love my husband. He is a great guy and truly my best friend in the world. He is nice to everyone, including myself, and manages to make me laugh even on the worst of days. However, his most unlikeable trait is his youthful appearance. He really looks like he is twelve years old, which upsets me extremely since he smokes everyday and uses the tanning bed at least three times per week. Robby is actually 30 years old and I am 32 years old. During our five year marriage, he is repeatedly asked for his ID at restaurants or even when buying cigarettes. I, however, am never asked for my ID. I have actually even asked the waiter, "Do you need to see my ID?" Only to hear the answer, "No ma'am...that's OK". I have also been mistaken for his mother on several occasions. Well, yesterday, while working in the clinic, two different people asked if Robby was my son after seeing a photo of us together......therefore, the explanation for my extreme pissed offness. I really don't know how to take this question anymore. Do they really think he is twelve years old or do they think I am old enough to have a 30 year old son? Either way, I am still pissed off. I know it is an honest mistake and people mean no harm in asking the question, but I can't help but dislike them immensely.
